With the popularity of texas holdem poker growing more and more each day this gives you an event your sure to make money for your organization. People from all around central Ohio come to these events to play and spend money.

Mid Ohio Poker is a company that provides the service of renting the equipment and conducting Texas Hold’Em Poker Tournaments for charitable organizations like yours for a fundraising event. Texas Hold’Em Poker is becoming more and more popular due to online poker and poker tournaments being aired on television. Now is your chance to hold a live poker tournament as a fundraiser to raise money for your organization.

What we do is plan an event with you which is normally on a Friday evening and all day Saturday and Saturday evening. We provide the poker tables and chips and assist you in conducting your event. The event normally consists of one or several tournaments and cash tables. The tournaments can range anywhere from $20 per person to $100 but we recommend keeping them mid range around $30-$40 per person. The winner gets a set amount out of the full amount which is determined by how many players we have and the charity gets the remainder. You can pay out the first three places if you like. The cash tables are run as follows: Each cash table will hold 10 people. The players buy chips to play and can cash in at the end of their stay. Each player pays $5.00 an hour to sit at the table this is how the organization makes money. So each cash table that is operating makes $50 an hour. We have a five table minimum which includes 3 tournament tables and 2 cash tables. Extra tables are available incase needed we bring enough supplies to run 10 tables per night just incase but you are only charged for the tables that are used. You are required to provide a dealer for each table and we can provide you with a DVD video the person can watch that teaches them how to be a dealer if they have never dealt before.

We also help you in promoting your event by putting you on our website and also sending out a mass email to all our regular players and we custom design you flyers. We have a database of regular players that follow us around that are sure to be at your event plus the general public.

Other ways you can make money at the event is to have a 50/50 drawing each night and also sell food and drinks.
